We wish you all a warm welcome!
During the 25th and 26th of March we’re opening the gates to Sweden’s largest meetup within the field of 3D-printing. Registration is now open and the seats are limited, so claim your ticket today!
The idea is to gather and enjoy the weekend while going all in with the hobby that we all so eagerly got into. Maybe you’re just joining us to hang out and to get some fresh ideas, or maybe you’re planning to spend the time to finally start that long print. Or why not build a new printer on site? How you choose to spend the time is up to you, but we’re hoping to provide the knowledge, technology and environment to make your weekend an amazing experience.
The event schedule has now been finalized and can be found in the menu or by clicking this link. While it’s considered a final version it may be subject to change before the event.
How much does it cost?
We’ll offer tickets for 200 people per day, including 40 of which can be booked with a table for your printer and anything else you’ll need. The entrance fee is 25 SEK per day, and the fee for renting a fixed place with a table is 50 SEK per day.
It’s worth mentioning that we don’t aim to make any money on this event, and that all costs are calculated to cover the costs for the venue and hosting the event. We’ve still tried to keep the costs down to a minimum, both for us and for you, and we hope you can overlook the fee and that you’re still interested in joining us.
What are you getting, and why should you come?
Everything that is needed to host the event has now fallen into place, but we’re still at large booking people to arrange workshops, lectures and contests. We will send out updates on a regular basis, so make sure to check this website and our Facebook page to hear more. We’ll also release a full schedule in the last weeks, complete with everything you’ll hear from the news updates. As of now, this is what you’re getting as a customer, with or without a table seat.
- A great networking opportunity
- Access to workshops and lectures
- Good prices on products from our partners
- Access to technical support kindly provided by our partners.
- An opportunity to be part of fun contests and other mini-events.
- A chance to meet and greet with Thomas Sanladerer!
- Come and create a mini replica of yourself!
What do we need from you?
We’ll be providing ethernet access and an electrical outlet to all table seats as well as a steady Wi-Fi connection during all hours of the event. Because it’s hard to estimate what might be needed in terms of equipment, we ask that you bring the following when you arrive.
- The tools needed to tinker with your printer
- One or more power sockets to expand the electrical outlet.
- One or more network cables to connect any equipment you might need.
- Possibly some of your best prints to put on display.
Time and place
The event will be held at Mindpark, Bredgatan 11 in Helsingborg, Sweden. The venue is in close proximity to the central station (Knutpunkten) and is within 5 minute walking distance. There’s also good opportunities for parking, explained in detail further down on this page.
The opening hours for the event are:
Saturday the 25th, 10:00 to 24:00
Sunday the 26th, 10:00 to 20:00
There’s a whole lot of parkings in the near vicinity around Mindpark, but the closest ones are the following, and should suffice for all visitors.
- Campus Helsingborgs parking
- Parking at Sockerbruksgatan and Sjögatan
- Rooftop parking next to the streets above.
Food and drinks
For those of you who want to eat there will be an opportunity to buy some light refreshments on site such as sandwiches, paninis, water and sodas. It’s also an easy 5 minute walk to the south of Helsingborg where there’s much more to choose from, should the provided options not suffice.
Hotels & Accommodation
If you wish to stay during both days and do not live nearby you will need to get some form of accommodation. Surely some of you know a local whose place you can crash at, but for the others, hotels and hostels might be good options. There are a few reasonably priced hotels nearby, and also a hostel not too far away. Some hotel suggestions are the following:
The safety of you and your belongings are our priority. The venue is manned by the Mindpark personnel during all hours of the event. During the night, the doors will be locked and the alarm will be on. There’s also guards who are patrolling the neighborhood every now and then to make sure everything is alright. We hope that this will make you feel confident that you can leave your equipment on site. Despite all these measures, we can’t be held accountable for any possible burglary and thefts, participation is at your own risk. As always, it’s never a wise idea to leave loose items as the opportunity creates the thief. Make sure to check your equipment so that nothing goes missing.
