The 3D Meetup Race Track for 3D-printed R/C’s will return once again and we are super grateful that 3D Prima is sponsoring us with all the material for the track and the prizes. We’re lending the track surface from Sideways Habo. We will still have one OpenR/C F1 car which all of the competitors will drive to try and set the fastest timed lap, but this year we will have set times for the competition. We’re doing this in order to also arrange other activities on the track.
Between the races the track will be open for all kinds of 3D-printed vehicles. This year we hope to gather a lot of R/C enthusiasts who use their 3D-printers to build and modify their R/C vehicles in order to get inspired by each others work and maybe even get some input on how to solve issues they might have.
All sorts of 3D-printed vehicles are welcome and they don’t have to be fully 3D-printed as long as some part is. If you have a vehicle you like to showcase then please contact us to see what we can arrange. At the venue we can only run land based vehicles but there is a pond nearby for those who have boats you want to showcase and play with.
