We’re proud to announce that the Lund University Hospital will attend 3D Meetup Sweden this year – namely one of their departments which focuses on using 3D-printing to visualise various organs and body parts before surgery.
Read more about them in their own words below:
We are empowering physicians at the hospital with 3D printed models. Helping one patient at a time. We will showcase models from clinical routine and explain how they have made a difference, both from the physician’s perspective as well as from the patient’s perspective. The models are used for interventional planning to make the surgery safer, patient-specific surgical tools, medical education, or to explain complicated interventions for the patient or relatives. We will also show how the models are made, from imaging to the final printed model.
