Why should I come to 3D Meetup?
If you’re looking for a platform to get in touch with the community and meet up up with your peers then this event is for you. Aside from this, we also offer you the chance to bring your machines for two days of tinkering with the support of all the visitors and our guests. Perhaps you just want to learn more about 3D-printing, attend some lectures or perhaps some interesting workshop. Anyhow, this event is for you!

When does 3D Meetup open and close?
The official dates for 3D Meetup Sweden 2023 is March 25-26th and the opening hours are the following:
Saturday March 25th, 10:00 to 20:00
Sunday March 26th, 10:00 to 16:00
If you’re coming to Helsingborg early it will be possible to offload your printer in the venue on Friday the 23rd, and we will also let you in at 09:00 on Saturday and Sunday, so that you get some extra time at the event.
Please note that we’ll lock the main entrance a few hours earlier than midnight, and food sales will stop a few hours before as well. Don’t worry though, you’ll have plenty of time and we’ll give you a heads up beforehand.
Do you have any partnerships with hotels, cab companies etc?
Through our partnership with Clarion Hotel & Congress SeaU they are ready to offer 3D Meetup participants a 10% discount on room bookings. If you wish to use this offer, simply send an email to email@example.com and with the dates you want to book. Don’t forget to say that you’re coming to attend 3D Meetup!
What’s included in my ticket?
Your tickets gets you access to everything the event has to offer. That includes access to the venue, all of our lectures and workshops, contests, our guests and much more. Get your tickets today!
Is there an age limit?
There is no age limit for this event. Everyone is welcome!
Can I buy tickets at the venue?
Of course! You can use your credit/debit card or Swish to buy tickets on-site.
Can my children enter free of charge?
Children between the ages of 0-6 enter free of charge, and children between 6-15 can enter with a discounted child ticket. You’ll find these options in the registration form.
Do you offer refunds on tickets?
Since we use an external ticket system we do not control the sales or refund process. Please get in touch with them in case you want to request a refund.
Can i book more than one table?
Yes, you can book more than one table if you need the room.
I don’t have access to a printer, can I show my ticket on my phone/tablet?
Of course. Upon your registration you’ll be sent a digital ticket which we can just scan from your screen.
What if I forgot something during my initial order?
Did you forget to purchase a t-shirt during checkout, or do you perhaps wish to order some extra table reservations? If so, you can add complementary purchases using this link. Make sure to have your previous ticket reference number nearby as you need to enter it during the checkout. We need this in order to connect the purchases together.
I’ve lost my ticket information, what do I do?
Don’t worry, we will help you! Please contact us and we will help you out.
Is there an ATM on-site?
Unfortunately not. Card and Swish are the only ways of paying. Our event does not accept any form of cash payments.
Where is 3D Meetup 2022 located?
Unlike other years the event will now take place at a new venue called Tryckeriet, although in the same city. The address to the venue is Vasatorpsvägen 1B, 254 57 Helsingborg. See you there!
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The best options for getting to the venue is by car but there is also a bus stop nearby so it’s easy to get there. We have a Facebook group specifically for finding a ride. Please make sure to join it if you’re looking for a ride.
What is the best time to arrive?
Mak sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before the opening as there could be a lot of people in line. You can also drive right up to the back entrance to unload your items. This entrance also has a roof so your items are safe even if it rains.
Where can I park my car?
We have approximately 100 parking spots connected to our entrance. These parking spaces are free and you can leave your car there overnight if you wish. There are also hundreds of parking spots available in the surrounding neighbourhood. Please check the map below for parking spots.
How about disability access?
The venue as well as the event has full disability access. Everyone is welcome and should be able to move around freely.
Can I leave my printer on overnight?
Printing overnight is not a problem, feel free to leave your printers on 24/7 so you can finish those long prints. It will also give our security guards something fun to look at while they patrol.
How much room will I have for my printer?
Each table is 183x76cm wide so there should be plenty of space for your items. You can always book more then one if you’re feeling insecure.
Can me and my friend have seats next to each other?
At the moment we don’t have the option to pre order numbered seats, but if you show up in time and together chances are that you can pick seats right next to each other.
Will you have a Wi-Fi network?
Of course! Wi-Fi information and password will be displayed throughout the venue.
What items are prohibited to bring into the event?
You’re not allowed to bring alcohol or weapons of any kind to the event.
Can I bring my pets with me?
We urge people to leave their pets home. The venue itself is safe for pets but as there is a lot of people in movement and heavy machinery it’s not a suitable environment. There could also be someone with allergies who has a bad reaction.
As a photographer, can I get a media pass to take photos?
Please get in touch with us regarding this.
What if I have some nice projects to show?
We encourage everyone to bring projects with them. Although, please let us know if your projects needs a lot of space. You can also sign up to showcase your project.
What if I want to arrange a talk/lecture?

What food and drinks do you offer?
During the event we will sell light food and beverages and we’re currently working on organising a food court with food trucks outside the loading area. Hopefully we will also be able to have a full serving permit so that we can serve beer, cider and wine.
We will make sure that there are also some vegetarian/vegan alternatives in order to make sure there is something for everyone. Should our food options not be enough, there is always the possibility of going into town for something to eat.
What about safety and security?
The safety of you and your belongings are our number one priority. During the event hours the venue will be staffed by their own personnel as well as the 3D Meetup crew and we’ll be on the lookup for any trouble. During the time which the event venue is closed, the outside will be patrolled regularly and we’ll have a guard posted indoors during all hours we’re not there so that everything is safe and sound. We hope that this will make you feel confident that you can leave your equipment on site. Despite all these security measures, we cannot be held accountable for possible burglary or thefts. Participation is at your own risk. As always, it’s never a wise idea to leave loose items as the opportunity itself creates the thief. Make sure to keep track on your equipment so that nothing goes missing.
What to bring with you
We’ll be providing internet access through Wi-Fi during all hours of the event, we’ll also try to provide one electrical outlet per table. As we don’t have the option to provide tools and hardware for all attendees, please bring the following with you:
- Tools required to tinker with your printer(s)
- One or more power sockets to expand the single outlet
- If possible, bring prints with you to showcase your work
- Network cables, power cables or any other cables you might require
Will you offer any scrap filament collection?
More information about this will come a little later. We’re still making arrangements on this topic.
How do I keep my self up to date about the event?
We’re available on all major social channels and will continuously post updates there before the event. We’ll also show any big news here on our own website.
